Tree Ceremony

In a traditional ceremony, Native leaders offer their respect and gratitude to a majestic red cedar tree before it is cut down. The tree was carved into a canoe that would come to be called Raven Spirit. More about raven spirit can be found in our Raven Spirit featured story.
