Coral Reefs In the Line Islands
When a 2009 National Geographic research team visited the Line Islands in the Central Pacific, they discovered some coral reefs that were thriving, and others that were damaged. This photo gallery shows both of those extremes. Marine biologist Enric Sala helped lead the research trip.
