Katherine Drews

Katie is a former intern for the Ocean Portal. Her favorite memory of the ocean is of swimming with Hawaiian green sea turtles turtles at Black Rock off Maui. She earned a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Houston. Her primary interest is renewable energy policy and she enjoyed researching ocean energy for the Ocean Portal. She is in the process of earning a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
