These gorgeous sharks are leopard catsharks (Poroderma pantherinum) found in the waters off of South Africa. Leopard catsharks get their name from their beautiful, widely variable skin patterns. Seen here is the typical “pantherinium” which is made up of rosettes and broken lines.
