Devin Reese
Devin Reese is a turtle biologist turned science writer. She grew up finding eastern box turtles in the wild patches of the DC area, migrated to California to radio-track populations of western pond turtles for her PhD, and then served as a marine turtle specialist for USAID’s Global Environment Center. Her attraction to science education grew over time, especially once she had her own three hatchling Homo sapiens. Devin currently writes science content for Vertebrate Zoology and Q?rius, as well as other organizations. Her love of writing spills into poetry and narrative, but invariably focuses on our interactions with other species on Earth.
