Linda Cole

Linda Cole specializes in the study of tunicates (sea squirts) from the Caribbean, the North Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the USA, the Gulf of Mexico and the Arctic region. She has been a Marine Biologist at the National Museum of Natural History for many years and has published papers about tunicates in a variety of scientific journals. Her work involves collecting specimens, describing new species of tunicates, and identifying tunicates for various organizations. She also produces educational materials on tunicates and mentors students interested in becoming scientists.
