Field Station at Carrie Bow Cay, Belize
The Smithsonian’s Carrie Bow Cay Marine Field Station supports research projects of marine scientists year-round. It offers ready access to thousands of small mangrove islands as well as countless patch reefs, vast seagrass meadows, underwater caves, three off-shore atolls, and the Belize mainland. Thanks again...
My daughter and I visited this summer, she is 11 and an aspiring marine biologist. She was warmly welcomed and was intrigued by the research. So much so that she is demanding a return, staying at IZE next summer for a few days then visiting again. Thanks guys, I hope you reserved another beer for me... :)
